Agree on the cleaning checklist
Tell us what your property needs rather than relying on a general “bond clean” label. Share any checklist from your agent or property manager and identify areas that need extra attention.
The final checklist and any exclusions should be confirmed in the quote.
- Kitchen surfaces and appliances that need attention.
- Bathrooms, showers and visible build-up.
- Floors, accessible glass and internal surfaces.
- Marks, difficult access or unusual cleaning requirements to assess separately.
How the hourly rate works
The two-person cleaning team costs A$99 per hour excluding GST. The two-hour minimum is A$198 excluding GST, before any separately agreed charges. The total depends on the agreed work and time required; cleaning call-out applicability must be confirmed in the written quote.
Confirm the estimated hours, any minimum booking, any call-out or other charges, and the full price basis in the written quote. A moving call-out fee should not be assumed to apply to a cleaning-only booking.
Plan around the property handover
Tell us the handover date, whether furniture will remain in the property, and how the team can gain access. Mention whether water and power will be available.
If you also need moving or rubbish removal, list each service in the enquiry. The team can discuss availability and the order of work before confirming the booking.
A clear scope for you and your agent
Ask for the agreed cleaning scope, price and invoice details in writing. Tell us before booking if your agent needs particular documentation.
Cleaning is one part of preparing a property for handover. A bond refund is not guaranteed by booking this service.
